Questions Asheville homeowners ask before they call

What does a kitchen remodel cost in the Asheville area?

Semper Fi's posted 2026 ranges run from $80k to $120k for a kitchen that keeps its layout, $100k to $140k for new cabinets in the same footprint, $140k to $200k when plumbing, electrical or structural walls move, and $180k and up for a full gut. Final cost depends on selections, scope and site conditions.

How are payments handled?

Payments follow a tiered system, and the final payment is not collected until the job is complete. If you plan to finance part of the work, the team helps you compare options, including renovation loans and trusted loan partners. Ask about the payment schedule on your first call so it fits your plans.

Can you help us stay in our home as we get older?

Yes. The team includes Certified Aging-in-Place Specialists trained through the NAHB. Common changes are curbless or roll-in showers, grab bars, wider doorways and halls, lever handles, lower counters, stairlifts and home elevators. Plans follow universal design, so the house also works for younger family members and guests.

Do you rebuild storm-damaged homes?

Yes. Semper Fi has a restoration division for residential and commercial property damage in Western North Carolina. Several reviewers describe how the team helped them work through insurance claims after Hurricane Helene, then managed the subcontractors and schedule until their homes were put back together.

Who will be my main point of contact?

You get a single point of contact from proposal through completion. Schedules, updates, selections and approvals sit in a dedicated online portal, so you can check progress any time. The same team that walks your home at the start stays involved as ideas turn into plans and plans turn into a finished room.
